Yes, as of October 2020. The community has a water treatment system that provides the community with clean and safe drinking water. You can find more information about it at Water Canada.
Yes. Grassy Narrows is a Drive-in community with an all-weather paved road. The road is known has Highway 671, or known to most locals as Jones Road.
There are 4 cities near the community. Kenora (1 hour drive), Dryden (2 hour drive), Winnipeg (2.5 hour drive), and Thunder Bay (6.5 hour drive).
Bell and Telus have cellular service directly in Grassy Narrows. There is currently no service for TBaytel or Rogers.
Yes. Teachers coming in with families have access to all educational resources from day care to high school, and the Learning Hub.
Yes. Additionally Teachers do not share residences. Currently GNEA is in the process of building new teacherages that are fully updated. You can read more our recruitment page.
